Sean Moves Into World Top Five

TargetLiner Sean McLelland continues his climb to the top and moves into the top 5 in the world by ISSF rankings. ISSF is the governing body for the Olympic shooting sports worldwide. Sean's impressive performance at the World Cup in Acapulco where he shot a 149/150, just one off of the world record, puts him firmly on his goal, the 2012 Olympic Games to be held in London, England.

The TargetLine Cup - May 14-16, 2010

The TargetLine Cup is approaching fast. Entries are coming in daily. It is going to be the shoot to attend. With a 200 target sporting main event shot over 2 days paying out a guaranteed $18,000, a 100 target FITASC event, a 100 bird 5 Stand, a Super Sport event, and sub-gauge events, the TargetLine Cup has something for every shooter. Registration and information can be found at CHshootresults.com. We will also be hosting a Pro Shooter Option and a Snooker "Top 8 Shoot Out" with a review of guns auction. Targets will be set by Steve Schultz, Tim Miles, David Niederer, Jeff Foster and Jason Menke. The TargetLine Cup is held annually at Fossil Pointe Sporting Grounds just outside of Dallas, Texas. This is Texas' premier grounds for sporting clays featuring incredible terrain, beautiful vistas, a 5000 sq. ft. clubhouse with wrap around porch and easy access to DFW airport.

World Cup 2010 - Acapulco, Mexico

Sean McLelland Wins the Silver Medal

Team USA member and TargetLiner Sean McLelland shot an incredible 149 out of 150, one short of the World Record, to force a shoot off between himself and Tore Brovold of Norway. Tore prevailed and won the gold with Sean taking the silver. Team USA took home 7 medals to lead all countries. Sean's International Skeet teammate Vincent Hancock (2008 Olympic Gold Medalist) finished in 4th. It was a great showing by the United States shooters capped off with Sean's silver medal in the last event of the World Cup. Sean also took home 15 pts. in his race to qualify for the 2012 Olympics. It takes 45 total pts. to qualify.

TargetLiner Gebben Miles Wins Seminole Cup

The 2010 Seminole Championship goes to Gebben Miles in a three way shootoff between himself, Anthony Matarese Jr. and Todd Simmons. Gebben hit 5 out of 6 very demanding targets to best the field. This is Gebben's second major title in a row using his new Kreigoff K-80 Pro-Sporter. He also won one of the prelim events at the Seminole Cup. The Seminole Cup is the first major competition of the year and is held annually at Quail Creek Plantation outside of Ft. Pierce, Florida. Over 500 competitors attended this year's event.
